As part of Ciara Allen’s prize for winning the title of Miss Drop Dead Gorjess to represent at Miss Ireland 2012, she won €500 worth of dresses from this fab new Irish online dress store and is of course featuring on the site wearing an array of their new stock! I sponsored the makeup for this shoot as part of her prize and also for her portfolio which you will see those pics soon enough 🙂
I had a great time on this shoot with all the girls, Jess who is a friend of mine and co owner of DropDeadGorJess, Fashion and Hair Stylist Nicole and Shauna Spain of Flutterby Fashion Styling,the amazing Lili Forberg Photographer – no intro required there, and the ever hilarious Ciara Allen!
For the photos of Ciara in the dresses for the website we went with a light smokey eye and nude lips and her hair was loose natural curls because we didnt want to take away any focus from the dresses. Its important when shooting for products to listen to the business/company requirements and keep a strong focus on the product itself, but – whilst still making the model look stunning, which wasn’t very hard with Ciara! Ciara is also wearing Hotlox hair extensions in these photos.
Ciara has received quite a bit of press in regards to her familiar looks! Being compared to the likes of Georgia Salpa and Kim Kardashian along with comments on her exotic appearance, but i can assure you she’s definitely an Irish girl born and bred and she is so funny and great to be around! Very energetic 🙂 I attended the Miss Ireland launch with her and we got on so well! I wish her all the best with the Miss Ireland competition this coming Saturday, I have no doubt she’ll do extremely well and will be sure to leave a positive impression on the judges!
